Save the Date: 3rd Annual AUG Education Conference
Please SAVE THE DATE for the 3rd Annual AUG Education Conference! The conference will be held on April 7th (evening) and April 8th (daytime).
The theme, “Different = Amazing”, honors variations in the way genetic counselors practice, how we understand our patients and ourselves, and how an evolving genomics landscape presents unparalleled opportunities.
Our Friday event will feature a staged reading of a section of the play “White People” by members of the Salt Lake Acting Company. It will be followed by a panel of genetic counselors reflecting on the themes of race, religion, and disability in their personal lives and in their practice.
Our Saturday event will be held at a different location this year, the amazing Leonardo museum downtown! All conference participants, as well as their immediate family members, will enjoy access to the exhibits following the conference.
Conference organizers will submit an application to the NSGC for category 1 CEUs.
Registration fee includes Friday CEUs with beverages and heavy appetizers, Saturday CEUs with breakfast, lunch, Leonardo museum access, and parking validation!
